28 Feb 2020

PG Security Systems and Hanwha Techwin Europe have established a business partnership which will see the two companies working closely together to provide support for system integrators in the Netherlands.

The agreement provides the opportunity for system integrators to source the entire portfolio of Wisenet range and solutions from PG Security Systems, a specialist distributor of electronic security products, including a comprehensive range of analogue and IP video surveillance cameras, recording devices and Wisenet WAVE video management software.

“PG Security Systems has an enviable reputation for providing system integrators with the highest possible levels of pre- and post-sales support,” said Bob (H.Y.) Hwang Ph.D., Managing Director of Hanwha Techwin Europe. “Combining this with a next day delivery service and an extensive knowledge of network based solutions, as well as the ability to integrate their own brand products with Wisenet, makes them the ideal business partner to help us promote our IP video surveillance solutions to the Dutch market.

“PG Security Systems can also claim to have the largest showroom in Europe. This will enable system integrators to see live demonstrations and receive hands-on training on how Wisenet products and solutions, many of which incorporate technologies unique to Hanwha Techwin, will help them generate new business, whilst delivering added value to their end-user clients.”

New Products for 2020

The distribution agreement coincides with the launch of a long list of new Wisenet products including new feature-rich multi-directional and panoramic cameras which negate the need for end-users to incur the cost of installing the higher number of standard cameras that would normally be needed to cover a wide area.

We will also shortly be launching additions to the premium Wisenet P camera series and these will be equipped with an extensive feature set which includes deep learning based AI. As such, these new cameras we be able to simultaneously detect and classify various object types, including people, vehicles, faces and license plates.

In addition, during 2020 we will be launching a new range of cameras equipped with our next generation Wisenet 7 chipset. These will offer a significant increase in image processing power and enhanced protection from cyber attacks.

“We are very pleased to be able to offer the Wisenet range to our customers in the Netherlands,” said Peter Gatowinas, CEO for Ridderkerk based PG Security Systems. “Wisenet products and solutions have a reputation for being ultra-reliable and offer true value in terms of their price/performance ratio. We believe combining these great products and solutions with a passion shared by both our companies for providing unbeatable support services, is a winning formula.

“We will also be looking to encourage our customers to join the Hanwha Techwin STEP partner programme which will enable them to take advantage of a range of benefits, including an extended 5 year warranty scheme, designed to give them a competitive advantage and help them increase their share of the video solutions market.”
